A programme,
not a consulting project.
Send assessments in clicks. Get scores back. Fix what's broken.
- Four assessment types: supplier ESG, greenhouse gas, supplier DEI, and human rights compliance.
- Green, amber and red across your whole base — one score, with the detail behind it.
- Issue a fix from the scorecard. "No anti-bribery policy" becomes a dated job. The score updates when they close it.
- Suppliers answer in 18 languages, and questions route to the right person at their end.
Pick what matters to your programme.
Run one, or all four. Each is scored out of 100 points on its own scale — you're not stuck with a single blended number that hides what's actually behind it.
Supplier ESG
Environmental policies and initiatives carry the most weight (25 of 100 points), followed by social and labor policies (22).
GHG Leadership & Reporting
GHG emissions data carries the most weight (24 of 100 points), with verification, reduction progress, and action planning close behind.
Supplier DEI
A supplier's DEI strategy and processes carry the most weight (42 of 100 points), followed by their own diversity information (31).
Human Rights Compliance
Tailored to human rights legislation in Germany and similar jurisdictions — covers modern slavery and human trafficking risk, not just policy statements.
The same three-band read across every assessment, so a score means the same thing whichever one you're looking at.
Low commitment
0–32 points. Not yet sufficiently embedded — presents a real risk to your programme.
Medium commitment
33–65 points. Some areas are embedded already; others need attention. Worth a conversation, not a red flag.
High commitment
66–100 points. Measuring, targets set, and making demonstrable progress against them.
Deeper analysis, when you need it.
Sphera is a recognised leader in Enterprise Sustainability Management software. The Sphera buyer portal is where deeper analysis and corrective-action planning happen — available as an add-on to your assessments.
Customizable dashboards
Track ESG, human rights, DEI and GHG metrics side by side, with real-time updates.
Supplier engagement tools
Engage suppliers on specific gaps and compare performance across your base.
Corrective action management
Set up and monitor fixes, review supplier evidence, and update scores as remediation lands.
Document management
One document center for every assessment record — filter and export for compliance reporting.
Multi-tier supply-chain mapping — visualising risk beyond your tier-1 suppliers — is also available through the portal, as an additional cost on top of the base assessment pricing.
Suppliers get a notification, log in — with existing Sphera credentials if they already have them — and answer. Questions they've answered before come back pre-filled, and a demonstration mode shows their score building in real time as they go, so it never feels like a black box. Skip logic keeps them from wading through questions that don't apply.
Reassessment isn't automatic
A completed assessment doesn't refresh itself on a schedule. If you want a supplier's score brought current, you invite them to reassess — it's a deliberate action on your side, not something that happens silently in the background.
